This is it! The final week of Apartment Guide's Your Picks. Your Place. Sweepstakes. I can't believe it. It went as quickly as the summer did. Say it isn't so ... the final round of Apartment Guide's Your Picks. Your Place. Sweepstakes is upon us. I'm sure you are sick of me talking about this, but I'm a little sad. It's been so much fun! 

The final round of boards are focus around the bedroom. I was giving the challenge of designing an industrial loft inspired space. Here's my plan...

It's defiantly the most modern space I've designed for this challenge, but I think the bold colors and fun duvet cover keep the space alive and somewhat cozy.


Speaking of the duvet cover, that was my starting point for designing this space. I love all the colors mixed in with soft neutrals. It gave me an amazing opportunity to pull in so many wonderful and bright colors. It's defiantly a space that will put a smile on your face.

Dreaming of a Summer Escape in My Own Backyard

Who doesn't want a magical and unique outdoor space? A place were you can gather with friends and family to make memories and have a whole lot of fun doing it.

To be honest, I'm a bit jealous of folks with these massive outdoor spaces and big backyards. Sadly, right now, I don't have that. Someday I'd love to have a bigger chunk of land with several acres where I  have a barn, plant a massive garden, plant a field of wild flowers... you get it.

Since that won't be happening anytime soon, I will just continue to dream and incorporation some unique elements into my space to create my own little backyard escape.
