Yay on the first day's give-away. Love her book and blog. The yams recipe got me - I had no idea we could cook such things as yams and broccoli in the slow cooker.

I love the Slower Cooker Hummus recipe. She is so right; buying a container of hummus is too expensive for what's in it!!! Making your own is always better!.

I've been making the Slow Cooker Sweet Potato Chili for a few years - it's a vegetarian recipe, but it's a hit even with hardcore carnivores. It also introduced me to the wonders of smoked paprika.

Really love the Garlic Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes because they would be such a good alternative with so many things, BUT then I found the Lemon Dijon Salmon and Dill Barley which really rang my bell!

Is it only me or do a few of these responses appear like they are left by brain dead people?
